Need help with oil dipstick on 1990 OMC 4.3

I have a 1990 OMC 4.3 that the dipstick got damaged and is unusable. A replacement is $50 and I'm not about to pay $50 for a dipstick. So I am going to buy a generic one and etch the lines in it and cut to length. So I need to know the length of the dipstick, the add line length from bottom and the full line length from bottom. The part number on the dipstick is 410921. Thank you
