ive got a 2004 50hp 4 stroke Johnson, engine starts and runs great until try to give it throttle, at about 10% throttle it starts to bog down and shake really bad, the more gas i give it the worse it gets.
now this engine has not been in the water in 1.5 years, run for 20-30 min every month on muffs, always had non ethanol gas with stabilizer. i have drained and flushed the fuel tank, replaced the primer bulb and fuel line, new fuel filter, drained and cleaned the vapor separator, fuel pump intake filter, float and needle valve, new high pressure fuel pump, the mechanical fuel pump looks good no leaks in diaphragm pumps well, brand new non ethanol gas, no positive results?
