Need help with 1993 Evinrude 25hp

I recently purchased a 1993 Evinrude 25hp long shaft. The motor is a tiller model. The problem is that I am getting nothing when I push the start button. The two wires that lead from the tiller safety switch are not connected anywhere on the motor. One wire has a pin connector and one has an eye connector. Both wires are black. Compression is good from pull start test and I tested continuity on the start switch and Solenoid. The battery is good. When I tested the starter, it did engage the flywheel but was sluggish. I did this test from my truck battery.
i cannot find a wire diagram showing where to connect the two wires. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The eyelet goes to the block most times the coil bolt. The pin goes into the engine side harness of the amphenol connector coming out the cdi box.

Thank you! The only Amphenol connector has no hole to plug the pin into. Any particular location? Also, do you think this is my problem with starting the motor? Thanks again.

Was the electric start added later? Does it have a Key or a push button for starting?

It is a push button start. I don’t know if it was added.

Is there another kill switch? And does your motor have a neutral safety switch?

It has a neutral safety switch that had one yellow/orange wire. It also has a push button kill switch on the side.
