Need help with 1992 mercury 60hp

I think my motor is a 1992 60hp, serial plate was removed couldnt check Year. But I have this radom hose that the previous owner put a bolt in...I'm pretty this is not how it suppose to be, if someone can shed some light on what this hose is...the motor starts and runs fine, pee hole works great, revs are fine as well..

The original point where pee hose came off.----Obviously comes from a different place now.------Remove that original hose and install a plug.

Ah i see, thank you. If the motor run fine should I just leave it or run another hose and have it properly done?

Install a new water pump impeller if you just acquired this motor !
