Need help on finding the model number for my engin

"I purchassed my boat last mar

"I purchassed my boat last march. It ran fair last year. I have stored in inside, but wish to do maintenance on it. My problem is that I can not find out the model or year of the engine. I have been told that it is an Evinrude, and it has a V4 power head. I found the silver disk and it has a number C3011732, or it might be a G instead of a C. I cant find any other numbers to help me. The problem is it has a cover with a Force 120 which I was told was wrong. Help me please."

"Thanks for the quick reply Reeves. I have the information on the lower unit, Model # E200FPXSSC Serial #G04762387. I also had a Marine Tech look at the motor, and he advised that the Power Head was a 120 hp, I looked again and am sure that the Serial # G3011732. The Tech advised that the lower unit, and transom was different from the power head, and that I needed the manual for the V4 Evinrude to find the motor type. I have ordered the manual and it is to arrive on Thursday or Friday. I was just wondering if I could get help in the mean time. Thanks everyone for you help, great forum."
