BAWL-1000072 BF30A. I have cleaned the carbs, changed spark plugs, sparked tested it(great spark), compression tested it and hard 110 warm in every cylinder, changed all fulids, and changed fuel filter. My rop carb wont suck air. Check the top spark plug it was bone dry. This problem has been happeninf since i bought the boat. Then with the model number i have listen could you find the year?? Thank You for any help.

It is a 1995.

Compression should be somewhere around 213 plus/minus 14 psi. So 110 seems a little low.

Check compression in neutral, all spark plugs removed, with motor at full throttle.

That should bring the compression readings up.

If it is pull start, then you might not be able to get it to full compression, since it rotates more slowly than electric start.

If they are still very low, check the timing marks. There are marks on the cam pulley and the flywheel. They both need to be aligned with the marks on the upper motor cover. It is possible that the timing belt slipped.

If it slipped more than a couple of notches and the compression does not come up after timing is corrected, then some of the valves could be damaged.
