"I have been dealing with an intermittent ignition failure due to a faulty connection on the starboard harness connector. Both engines will die at the worst times, and I have to slightly touch the starboard harness to regain connection.

Tonight I was trying to isolate the lead that is loosing connection and while plugging and unplugging the connector with the ignition on, I had a brief arc between the connectors and lost the ignition to the starboard engine. I checked the engine circuit breaker and have power in and out of it. The coil and the ignition switch do not have power. I have checked all the fuses under the helm and found no broken fuses. I pulled the ignition switches from the panel and the port side switch has a leg off it that contains the small light to show the fire system and ignition system are activated and contains a 30amp in-line fuse, which was intact. I cannot find the fuse between the ignition switch and the connector on the RED 12v circuit. Is there a seperate fuse that is not contained in the fuse blocks?
Any ideas?

"Sounds like you need to do the "connector ritual": Pull connector open, clean contacts several times with spray contact cleaner, then grease with electrolytic grease before sticking them back together. Sometimes the connector is loose when reassembled; those I tie wrap together.
