The original Ignition switch is shot and the key (if it goes in at all) just falls out! The OEM switch is located on the aft of the control box but I want to instal a modern switch on the dash with a wrist tether kill key and a starter button. A very UNTRUSTWORTHY tech told me it was impossible and tried to charge $300 for an OEM. key switch... No Way No How Not this old soldier!
I'm probably NOT the best choice for a wiring project however I have some experience, lots of wiring stuff in multiple colors.
I amn not yet familiar with the motors starter wiring diagram so I need advice until my shop manual arrives. I am posting pictures of the planned switches.
Could somebody familiar with my motors starter connections please examine the switches and send me a crude diagram linking the switches to the motor/starter???
I have had NOTHING but issues since I bought this old (bare-bones) Crestliner
ANY help would save me some frustration THANKS ONE AND ALLLLL
