Need a good "link-and-synch" guy in Southeastern Mass

I just had the whole electrical system (stator, trigger, coil packs, etc.) replaced in my 1983 Mercury 80hp, and now I need a good mechanic to do an in water link-and-synch. I took it out for a shakedown this weekend, and the motor doesn't want to slowly accelerate, I have to drop the hammer to get it up on plane. Slow acceleration leads to bogging and stalling. Once it's up and running, it runs great! Starts fine, it's just slow acceleration that's a problem. It feels like timing to me, but I'm not confident enough to try adjusting it myself.

I live in Taunton, MA, and would like to find a reliable guy somewhere close by. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

it is really very simple

Do you live near the Taunton Nut House! (We used to say that when I lived in New Bedford).

Try setting the idle mixture screws (warmed up and in gear, boat NOT moving), then add 1/2 turn OUT on each screw. If that doesn't do it, get back to me.
