"Greetings,I need a carb for a 99 6hp.So far,most online sales are showing"factory back order" Does anyone have a favorite supplier that may have one of these critters? By the way,it appears that the throttle shaft is seized solid from non use and possibly a touch of moisture. Thanks,crzhors"

"Why don't you soak the carburetor in a good solvent like Seafoam or B-12 or other and maybe loosen up the seized throttle shaft, it might work and save you time and money of trying to find one of these."

"Thanks guys, Yeah,I'm in Panama,First,an old outboard guy here said to strip the carb down and stick it in a pot of boiling water or pressure cooker and sometimes the different metals may separate, Also I'm looking at the "non-US" style Yamaha Enduro models to see if the carb is a similar config. Stay tuned..."
