"After swamping the engine last year, the starter is rusted out and needs to be replaced. After following another starter thread here, I found Sierra's online store. The starter they suggest is model 18-5900, saying it replaces OEM #0988217. I'm a little concerned because I can't find a model number on the old one. It's a Del Ray, and the only thing stamped on it is "1988318 6J 09". Can anyone confirm that the 18-5900 is what I need, before I buy over the net?
