After thinking about for a while decided to hang the extraweight, just in case.
Justed purchased the Honda 9.9

I have a 45” transome
?1.how much setback is needed for engine to fulley tilt outof water.http://www.ebay.com/itm/172502161730?item=172502161730&frommaketrack=true&viewitem=&vxp=mtr

?2.can I run WOT around 50Knts w/ main engine and kickerfulley tilted?

I plan a rod connecting the main engine and the 9.9 forsteering
?3.will I be able to leave this rod attached all the timeeven when trimmed?

I had a anti burgular device that was a three sided long boxthat slide over the
Top mount attachments then a padlock secured it from underneath.
I know WM has them for around $25.

?4.who makes a anti burgular device that locks the 9.9 tothe bracket?

I'll be using this engine for no wake zone slow trolling/cruiseing the rest will be the Johnson
planning on electronic throttle contoll like control king any thoughts or alternatives
