"this isnt motor related but does anyone know why all of my accessories dont work? i get power to the fuze panel and after it, but anything that needs to be switched on at the dash does not work, lights, bilge pump, aerator. any ideas?"

"Depends on how the boat is wired. Some companies just loop one ground from point to point, some install a ground buss. This is a terminal where all of the accessory grounds will connect. If you are sure you have 12(+), as stated in your earlier post then connect one side of your tester to that source and the other to a known ground (-). See what happens. If nothing, you need to start at the battery and follow the wire, testing is at each connection and see where you loose your ground. Don't overlook the obvious such as a loose connection on the battery or a broken wire.
