I have purchased a 82 mercury

I have purchased a 82 mercury 25 hp motor to go on my carolina skiff that presently has a 94 9.9 hp. Will the remote and steering cables from the 9.9 hook up to the 25 hp. Thanks for the help

"Matt, the steering and throttle/shift cables should be the same. A quick check in the manual also shows that the harness should be the same as well..."
