Ok replaced ignition switch which took care of the kill switch problem. But the motor surge is still a problem. Had a bad head gasket, fixed that. Bad ignition coil, fixed that. Bad thermostat, fixed that. Now the idle is still not adjusted and noticed that one carb did not seem to respond to adjustments. After test at the lake came home removed all carbs and readjusted the floats. Removed the vapor bowl and readjusted the seat and float. Now primer bulb does seem a little better but still not firm. Any suggestions? I'm thinking new diaphragm in the vapor pump, and new pick up line and anti-siphoning valve.
