motor shafts

I have several different size shafts. My father in law ran a johnson marine shop in the 1960s. I know they are probably needed by someone but I have no idea how to identify what shaft fits what motor. I would prefer not to do the ebay thing. Any suggestions?

You might try posting the length, diameter, type of splines and type of keyway and any other information such as grooves etc. Somebody here may recognize it. If the list is real long, we may not take the time to do all of them.

thanks for reply, the list would be long so I will describe one for now to see if I get the right info.
32" long
13/16" dia
4 splines on both ends each spline 1/4"
9/16" keyway
It appears to never have been used
