Motor pukes out

I have a 1973 evinrude 115hp and lately I can be running near full throttle when suddenly it acts like it is running out of fuel,I throttle back to nuetral for a minute and the motor smoothes out and runs great at around 3/4 throttle, checked filters and put in new fuel but same old thing, any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks

I changed the bulb 2 years ago and i have not noticed if the bulb was collapsing but will have the boat out in a few day so will check, thanks for the reply

Try squeezing the primer bulb when it acts up, if it picks up and runs properly, you most likely have a fuel pump going out.
If that doesn't help, you might have a plugged or restricted high speed orifice in the carbs, have the carbs been serviced recently?
