"I have a 2002 merc.115 ELPTO. Most of the time I try starting the motor, I have to advance the throttle or push the choke, even on warm start ups. I have good prime on the ball and the plugs are good. I have had the boat since new (TV18 Tracker) and it's always been this way. She runs like a champ once started. I was wondering if this is normal, and if not what might be the problem. When I turn the key, it'll fire and run for a split second and die. It might do this three or more times before starting, unless I advance the throttle. The idle speed seems to be set right. Any advise on trouble shooting would be greatly appreciated."
