Thanks. I have found a number G 707 1790 is this the one? Also how do uou check out the oil level for the stern drive and what oil spec do you use?

"no,...that looks like a serial number....u will always need a model number....lower eng to a down,..level position,..take both lower,and upper fill/drain screw out,...when drained,..refill till oil comes out of top screw,..plug the top,and then the lower...the oil u need will be for outboard lower unit oil...may be listed as hypoid 90..etc.."
