I have a 1981 4.5 horse Johnson seahorse that doesn’t rev up when given wide open throttle. The motor has good compression but when I pulled the plugs to check the plugs where wet. It also has trouble at slow trolling speeds and after 20-30 minutes it with start to die unless I put it in neutral as rev it a bit. I’m wondering if any of you know what I should start looking at my first impression was the float but I don’t want to go into it if I don’t have to. Thanks
