I read in a article online that the newer pumps are very simular and the newer kits will work. I told the parts man I needed a kit for a 1981 9.9 johnson . He said it would be here monday. Am I being misled? If not I need a picture of how it goes together because a previous owner disassembled it and said it has not worked since. thanks.
