I have a 1993 18' sun bird

I have a 1993 18' sun bird with a 4 cylinder omc. when I have more that 3 people in the boat I have a hard time getting it down on plane. The nose stays in the air until someone goes up front. I have two props. I use the one for faster starts but I have to watch the RPMs. Is a trim plate the answer?

Scott I looked at the Smart tabs and have question. What would be best for a 19ft w/ 120hp? The listed models for 15-18 @ 80-130hp and the 18-22ft @ 150-240hp. Would it be better to use 1ft shorter boat lenth or 30hp short on the other.

"It goes by boat length, and power. If your going out in the boat with 4 to 6 folks most of the time, you may want harder attenuators.
Supposed to plane at 33% less power.I'm real eager to test them on my old tub.Blub...blub...blub... lol
I just priced them, and I'm using the ones for 18 to 22 foot, 155 hp.with 80 lb attenuators. The big ones. They look like a snap to put on, also.
NO Trim Tab buttons. They react to cornering, as well independently. That's neat. They also slow you to a point, when Lake Trolling.
I never did like the idea of the Dolphin fin. Too much pressure on the Transom.
Priced at 2 Bills CAN. ...all in.
Now, all I have to do is move my fish-finder transducer. Uuugh.
