More horsepower

"I have a 1988 150HP Evinrude

"I have a 1988 150HP Evinrude (V6) on the back of a 21' walkaround cuddy. I would like to get just a few more horsepower on the back of my boat so that I can beat the other guys to the good fishing spots. This may sound dumb, but is there any way (preferably not too costly) to squeeze a few more HP out of the motor (since I know that 150HP is the bottom range for the V6 engine) Thanks for your input."

"easiest cheapest way i know is to lift ur motor on transom,less of bottom end draging in water.. get water pressure guage to check so motor dont go "boom""
