Cross posted. Got a Rude 6HP in the shop and need some parts for a refurb. Transom bracket is donated from another motor.The freeze plug on the powerhead says 6702D-E01598. Need some help on this one. Thanks-B

6 - denotes HP.....7 - denotes 1967 for the year

I can not get any parts lists to come up on this model number. I have a 6504 which is a 1975. Could it be a 1977 model?

For rope just go to your local small engine repair shop and buy 10ft black with red stripes

6504 is a 1975 just use the johnson diagrams to get part numbers same animal. Use the model number lookup guide not all engines are covered here but johnson and evinrude are the same except engine covers and color in most instances.
