Model # A118149 Mercury 18XD question

I Bought a Mercury 18XD # A118149 today. From what I can find out it is an 84 model.The man I bought it from bought it at an Estate auction. The motor has never been ran from what I can tell. It Still had tags on it and appears in show room condition. I checked all the basics and started it up. Ran perfect but noticed no water pumping out. Is it possible The pump is just stuck from sitting all these years or am I looking at a new water pump?

The impeller is aged / wheathered / cracked and it must be replaced !-----See this all the time with those impellers.

Thanks , Took it apart this morning. I went ahead and replaced impeller but wasp had built a nest in the hose. I already had the impeller so I replaced it anyway. Everything is good now. Gonna hit the lake this evening. Thanks again
