I was given a model 280 chrysl

I was given a model 280 chrysler outboard sailor is on the side of the motor. It has a extra long shaft can anyone tell me what I have here?

yes high trust motor for small yacht
it will be the same motor as the small ones normally used on small craft as an auxl motor only yours has a long leg and you will find the gear ratio is different to alow it to push heavy load without blowing it to hell.
also i belive it might also have a charging cct built into it to charge the batteries on the yacht
if further info needed i have the mag for crysler tests when they compared the different makes in the boating weekleys back in 1970 or there abouts
could also be some basic specks.
