Model 270 exhaust bellows

"Good morning everyone, I searched the site but couldn't find the answer. I installed a new bellow on my model 270. When I tilt the drive up I get a steady stream of water coming out of it. Is this normal or did I not get it on the transom side of the exhaust pipe.

There is a pinhole at the bott

There is a pinhole at the bottom of the bellows (around the middle) to allow water left in the exhaust to drain when you are trailering the boat.
