Can anyone tell me what the suffix M stands for on J75TRLIM

I know what the letter/numbers are, just wondering what makes the M designation different. Also would like to know what makes the stinger model different fro the J75 HP

1. What is special about STINGER?
2. Is there any value to restoring a STINGER?
3. Why such a short production run on STINGER?

STINGER---------Was all about cosmetics and marketing.---------Remember that this was a different PCD era.----------PCD= pre computer days.----------The M really means nothing to an owner.------------Has to to with production run at the factory and possibly a minor parts difference.

There will be a note in the parts diagrams if the suffix relevant to that model otherwise all parts should be the same.

That model number is missing a digit did you forget a C J75TRLCIM? makes it a 81 long shaft tilt trim sport styling.
