Missing Ignition Switch Cable

I recently picked up a 2000 9.9HP Evinrude (E10EL4SSE) and am having a bit of a challenge rigging it to my pontoon boat. The motor came with a "concealed" remote control without the keyswitch/cable so I ordered up a new switch cable a55embly (584599).

This cable has 4 ring terminals on the switch end and a round, black rubber connector on the other end. I figured that this connector would just plug into the motor somewhere but darned if I can figure out where. After studying the parts and service manual I'm stumped as to which piece I'm missing although the service manual alludes to another cable between the switch cable and the motor.

Any help as to the part number of this mystery cable would be greatly appreciated.

I've spent a fair amount of time surfing the net looking for the "missing" cable and, of course, all the part diagrams for my outboard. A search of the various sections of this site has also been fruitless. Unfortunately, there's not an Evinrude dealer anywhere near me either.

Yes, I have looked at this section, at least twice. I already have a switch and cable in the form of Evinrude part # 584599. All I need to know is where the connector end of my cable (584599 - from my Evinrude parts manual) plugs into. The parts manual and service manual do not show this cable connected anywhere.
