Miss at idle 2001 90 hp

2001 Mercury 90HP

Took the boat for a test drive. At idle it has a miss to it. Not bad but you can tell. It will stay idling though and you can idle around the lake with no problem. Give it throttle and it runs great not a miss or hesitation will cruise at 52 MPh all day long. Any ideas what to check?

If I am not mistaken, that is a 2+2 motor. This means that it runs on 2 cylinders at idle, and the other 2 pick up at about 1800 rpm.

It's a 3 cylinder

its running a bit lean, simple adjustment on the idle mixture

Sorry, I was thinking of the 115 hp motor. good luck
