Mismatch

I have a 1992 3.0L with a 2.3L sterndrive. Its in need of bearings in the upper. what gears should I use to better match the motor.

this is where the Seloc manuals beat the OEM one. There's a ratio chart in the appendix with all the gearing ratios upper and lower. Simple calculations will allow you to figure which upper might get you to a 3.0 ratio with the lower you have.

I have a 3.0 I bought for my 2.3. Figured out quick that it was the wrong ratio. I'll sell it cheap. Where are you located ?
