Your outboard motor should charge the battery. Personally, I'd not add anything more to it. Rather install a deep-cycle battery and switch-over system for the trolling motor. When you troll, you'd select the deep-cycle battery (isolating the outboard's battery). When cruising, select both batteries, the deep-cycle would be charged by the outboard. Nothing worse than trolling all day and you won't be able to start the outboard with the key...
