Hi guys im very new to owning

Hi guys im very new to owning a boat and new to this forum. Anyhow a friend had a boat I could use anytime I liked and after he sold it last fall I decided I needed a boat. I searched classifieds for weeks looking for the right deal and found this. 1967 silverline with a 4 cyl. pre alpha 110. Unfortunately I purchased sight unseen besides some pictures that where emailed to me. When I returned from my business trip I found the boat in my front lawn with a newly rebuilt motor with nothing bolted on and a 30 gallon plastic tote full of parts. I do know my way around a car engine pretty well and I have managed to bolt on many of the parts but now im getting to a point of total confusion with the water intake and wiring harness. I have limited money for this project and I just want to go fishing. Any help would be greatly appreciated and if anyone has any wire diagrams and diagrams for routing water lines I would love to see them. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

1967 is too far back for me.

1967 is too far back for me. Try a library to get a manual for the pics. and info. you need. You might find one on eBay; one guy said he has any manual you want. Search on eBay or post a Want Ad.

Perhaps a local mechanic can help you get it reassembled. Get a manual as close to the year you need if possible. Most of the drawings will be close to what you need. Good luck.

Thanks for the info I have tried the library with little luck I have found out the motor is 1964 to 1970 110 pre alpha if that helps at all. I have a mechanic friend who is also an avid boater he looked at it scratched his head for an hour or so put a couple parts in place and told me to find a schematic or manual. I have sifted through countless forums and websites with little or no help also looked at another friend’s 1975 boat with similar engine but it looks totally different. Im considering buying a seloc book but im not sure if it will help me I don’t wish to pay for it then find it no use to me.

"I have a Clymer manual that covers 1964-1987.
It does list the 110 and indicates that it is a 4 cyl 153 cid engine. Does that sound right?
It has wiring diagrams that look like it covers the 110 4 cyl. It's a pretty simple wiring diagram.
I have nil experience with this model, but I will scan and email you the wiring diagram if you send me your email address. I'm at [email protected]

Tim:

I found a few manuals for the year you need on eBay and sent you emails referencing them.
