Mid 90s 18HP nissan. Reving issue?

Boat ran great one day and then the next day a mile offshore when the motor started having issues. Worked fine on way out. Shut off and fished. Started right up first pull but now will idle and move forward under a very light load but if you give any amount t of throttle the engine will rev really high but the actual boat will slow down. I had to basically travel back under idle or just a tiny twist of throttle. Any ideas? One person said prop bushing?

Try another prop.-----Have you installed a new water pump impeller every 5 years?----Hot exhaust may ruin the prop.

Yes the water pump was replaced last year. Is there a resource to find the prop PN. I'm new to all of this. This motor ran great and pushed my 14 foot boat like a champ. Love to get her going again. I see no ID numbers on the prop
