Mercury150hp won't stop running.

You have 2 postions on the switch marked "M". One of them has a black/yellow wire coming from the switch boxes and the other gets connected to ground when the switch is in the off position. Use an ohm meter and make sure the ground is good. Check the switch to be sure it is grounding the black yellow wire when in the off postions. Check the continuity of the black/yellow wire from the switch all the way back to the switch boxes. If all that is good then the switch boxes themselves could be bad.
 
I checked it this weekend everything seems to be fine during the frist two mintues. The engine runs fine, it's after about four mintues that the engine won't stop running when turned to the off position. I checked the wiring, grounding and Continuity it's fine. any other ideas.
