Hi all, Ive got a 2000 model 40hp 2 stroke mercury, when i was flushing the motor today when i selected forward gear it makes a real grinding graunching sound as it goes into gear. But when going into reverse it makes the usual clunk. Do i have some kind of gearing problem in the lower unit.
