Hi all.
I have a Mercury 200 ProMax EFI 1994. The oil injection was disconnected when buying it and I premix 1:50. When starting and on idling it smokes terribly.
When I leave the motor trimmed up, (out of the water), trimming it down and starting once the prop hits the water, it smokes much less and more normal.
Seems like fuel is leaking into the crank case.
Would appreciate advice on the problem.
