Mercury outboard

I have a 65 hp mercury . . . no power, water sipping out of spark plug number 2

The water leak will be the cylinder water jacket cover gasket leaking .-------------------Do a compression test and check that you have spark at each cylinder.--------------Is this a 3 cylinder or an earlier 4 cylinder ????????----------------If those test OK then look for fuel issues.-----------------You may have a plugged up carburetor.---------------Do not run it if it is a carburetor issue ( no fuel = NO OIL either )
