"my shifting mechanism, doe's not work correctly, it wont go in forward all the time. i cant find out how to take it apart? please help ! boat is a 04 trighton 176 magnum."

"post some engine info. so people know what your working on. you can try to isolate the problem by disconnecting the shift cable at the motor, and try to shift by hand. this will tell if its an engine, or control problem."
