I have a 225 optimax with a pi
I have a 225 optimax with a pinion gear out in the lower unit. i have talked to several people that have had this problem. I did not hit anything and had oil changed once already. the motor has about 150 hours. Wondering how many people have had this problem lately. And also put 2 power heads on under warranty. Could mercury have bad pinion gears. or i have a lemon. Concerned about pinion gear problems.
