hey all... I'm trying to get this motor running properly. I think its a 2000... I can get it to start but I can't give it any throttle without it dying. It will idol for a little bit but will eventually die... I can keep it going if I pull the choke out and hold it but as soon as i let go no matter how long I've been keeping it going it will still die. Furthermore I've taken the carb off and started taking it apart to clean. I was working on a clean hobby desk with nothing on it and as i was taking it apart without me noticing anything dropping out I discovered a small bb lying there that i didn't notice before... where does this go or does even belong to the carb? thanks.

Sure sounds like the carburetor needs a proper cleaning and you are on the right path.------------The ball is likely part of the primer ( replaces choke function ) system.----------Perhaps a manual can be found " online "
