So I've been looking at service manuals, and found the seloc online versions here. I've got a merc '06 25hp 4 Stroke EFI. Looking through the seloc catalog they dont have a match for this motor (I've only found it on Mercury's online store). I have heard somewhere, maybe even here - i dont recall, that that motor is actually a Nissan that is branded and sold as a mercury. Is this true? (I think it could be as when i got this rig I got an extra lower unit with it that I'm told is an exact match and I'm pretty sure that it came off a Nissan)
I do find a match -25hp 4 stroke efi- for that manual on seloconline for Nissan (but not mercury) and am wondering if that will be accurate instructions? (Plus it would cost me half as much as the printed manual from mercury did)
