Could use some help please! Have an old force 9.9, she ran great forn2 years. This year I lost power when boating. Was open wide and slowly lost power. Wouldn't turn over to start after that. She hasn't turned over since. New plugs, new handle kill switch, sprayed stating fluid directly into carb. Won't turn over. Spark tester shows weak spark. This model has 2 ignition modules (that aren't sold anywhere anymore). Any ideas would be excellent!

What does "wouldn't turn over to start after that" mean?

Are you saying the rope won't pull as normal (or if equipped, electric start won't spin the motor as usual)?

Or are you saying the motor rotates as expected but won't start?

From your description of the failure as I have copied here: "Was open wide and slowly lost power." This is a typical overheat failure symptom.

It wont start referes to cranking over. Its a pull to start. Rope pulls smoothly, she turns just wont catch. No fire going on

Pull start, motor turns but won't fire. Wasn't couple hundred yards from dock, so wasn't hot. It acted like fuel los the way it tampered down. I noticed my speed dropping when wide open. I originally thought it had just flooded cause the choke sometimes flips(linkage sleeve is allowed out)
 
Cranking is the crankshaft turning due to either a starter motor or a pull cord.

If the motor cranks (crankshaft turning) but won't start that is something completely different.

Cranks. Or won't.

Starts (or won't).

May start but not continue to run.

It wont start. Not enough spark to start. Ain't a mechanic crank turn over fire... I got no combustion. Pulls, flywheel turns, has gas, has compression. Won't start
