I am changing my outboard from a 96 mercury 90 2stroke to an 04 mercury 60efi and want to keep my original tacho. My previous remote control had a 5pin plug which connected the remote control to the dials but my new remote has a smart craft adapter with 5coloured wires coming off it. Can I wire these into a 5pin plug to connect to my taco harness… if so which colours match with which. I have grey, brown, black, blue and purple on my 5 pin plug and red blue green and yellow on my remote control
