Hi, need someone knowledgeable on the axius systems to give me some info.
Long story short: lots of parts for the gen 1 system are NLA. I can still get TVMs and CCMs for the gen 2 system. Then there is also the axius joystick piloting (gen 3), joystick piloting (gen 4), and joystick piloting V2 (gen 5).
I guess its time to ditch the gen 1 system. Which one would be the cheapest/best to upgrade to? I know its not gonna be cheap at all, but me selling off some of the very desirable gen 1 components shouldn't make it too bad. I was thinking of going with the gen 2, since I can still get parts for it, so what are the common parts that I can use between gen 1 and gen 2, and what parts do I need to buy? Additionally, I will need to code the components, does anyone know if jaltest marine would be able to do it, or is it time to plead my mercruiser tech friends to borrow their laptop?
