Looking at a 2013 Monterey 340 to purchase. It has the axius joystick system on Merc 350's with DTS but not the skyhook autopiloit control pad. My question is can the autopilot pad be added to the boat given it already has axius drives? I've found the pad for sale, Merc PN# 8M0047830. Appears it has a pin connector which plugs in somewhere, maybe the joystick controller? I know it needs GPS too.
Can a Merc master tech answer this question or has anybody installed the autopilot pad to exiting system? If so, how complicated is the install and rough labor cost?
