On a Pontoon boat, I recently replaced a Johnson 2 stroke outboard with a 2014 Mercury 50hp four stroke outboard. I wired up the analog gauges using Mercury 84-892820a01 Gauge Interface Smartcraft attached to 84-896537A 14 pin Ignition Key Harness.
The Gauge Harness had a blue wire labeled "Oil". Is this wire for an Oil level, pressure, or temperature gauge?
I have an unused fuel gauge on the dash since we use portable gas tanks. I thinking of replacing it with an oil gauge but need to know which to buy.
