Mercury 9.9 Four stroke impellar

Motor not spitting water from the weep hole...Shaft has a place for a key,but when I took housing apart, there was an impeller with a pin(had fallen out)...is there an impeller that uses a key to match the shaft ?

Nope. Newer impellers use a pin (inserted vertically in the key slot) rather than a key. Use grease to hold the pin in place when you install the impeller.

Bilge rat jim...thank you for your quick response...installed the impeller per your pointers and so for so good...water coming out of weephole when barrel tested...thanks again, and God bless you !
