Mercury 8 Hp Block displacement

Hello, can anyone tell me if the 1995+ 8hp models use the 16 cu inch block or the 12 cu inch? I know in 1995 they up the 9.9 to 16 cu inch, but cant find any info for the 6 & 8 hp blocks

No the 6/8 hp motors vever used the 15 hp block.
