Hi I’m hoping something can help me,
I recently baught an old fletcher speed boat
and it came with an old Mercury 70hp engine, I don’t know the exact year I’m guessing 1994 roughly,
I was told the boat had been sitting for about a year before I got it and we had it running,
I changed out the spark plugs, fuel and cleaned out the carbs and fuel filter, went out on the boat and it went perfect for about 10 minutes before it started to run bad and eventually bog out, so I cleaned out the carbs another time and it started and goes at 1/4 the speed it went the last time and is running quite rough, any one know why it would be doing that?
